Basic Gold Piercing Jewelry

Browse basic gold piercing jewelry, including straight and curved bars, circular barbells, spiral bars and separate ball ends. Plain and stone-set components offer different finishes for your assortment; check the gold karat, color and dimensions available for each item.

Confirm whether the listing supplies a bar, an end or a complete piece. Match the gauge, usable length and thread specification to the intended assembly; internal and external threading are different constructions. Plan the Complete Assembly Before Ordering Parts

Basic piercing jewelry can be supplied as a complete piece or as individual components. Start by identifying the bar shape, required ends and connection system, then check which parts the selected listing includes.

For straight bars, curved bars, circular barbells and spiral designs, record each configuration separately. A bar supplied alone should not be counted as a finished assembly, and a separate ball end should not be assumed to fit every bar of a similar size.

Build your order around product references rather than appearance alone. Where an assembly needs two ends, confirm whether they are identical, which ends are removable and how many are included in the quoted item.

Separate Bar Size, End Size and Thread Size

Several measurements may appear in the same product description, but they describe different features. Keep them separate when comparing gold piercing parts:

  • Bar thickness: specify the diameter in millimeters alongside any gauge designation.
  • Straight-bar length: confirm the wearable length between the ends, rather than the total length of the assembled piece.
  • Curved or spiral dimensions: ask how the stated size is measured and request a dimensioned image if the reference points are unclear.
  • Circular designs: distinguish the internal diameter from the external dimensions and the space between the ends.
  • Ball diameter: identify the size of the decorative end separately from its connecting thread.

A description such as “3 mm ball” does not establish the thread size or which bar it fits. Confirm the mating specifications before combining separately listed parts.

Keep Replacement Components Traceable

For repeat orders, retain the bar and end references together with the approved dimensions, thread details and available gold karat and color. This is particularly useful when several assemblies use similar-looking ball ends.

Our wholesale gold findings and piercing components include related parts to review against your requirements. Confirm the exact connection rather than treating similar product names as evidence of interchangeability.

If your project requires a different component shape or dimensions, send a drawing showing the connection points and intended assembly through our custom gold jewelry manufacturing service. Feasibility and any necessary development should be reviewed before production is agreed.

Basic Piercing Jewelry FAQs

What do internal and external threading describe?

For a bar, internal threading means the receiving thread is inside the bar; external threading means the thread is on its outside. An end must have the corresponding connection. When a component’s name is unclear, ask which part carries the projecting thread and which part receives it.

Can one ball size fit bars of different thicknesses?

Possibly, but the ball’s outside diameter does not establish compatibility. The mating thread diameter, pitch and engagement need to match. Confirm the specific bar-and-end combination rather than assuming a standard connection across different sizes.

Are jeweled ball ends always set with diamonds?

No. A jeweled or stone-set description does not identify the stone material. Check whether the selected end uses cubic zirconia, a diamond or another gemstone, and confirm the stone size and available colors before requesting your quotation.

Can I replace a plain ball with a stone-set or looped end?

Only after the proposed combination has been checked. Matching threads are necessary, but the new end may also change the assembly’s dimensions, clearance or orientation. Include both product references and explain how the finished piece will be configured.
