Clear material information helps you choose jewelry confidently and answer your own customers’ questions. At Play With Diamonds, we discuss gold-content testing, diamond and gemstone reports, and supporting order documentation with retailers and jewelry brands before production.
Tell us what your business needs when requesting your quotation. We will confirm what can be supplied, the scope of any testing, additional charges and the time required before you approve the order.
Gold Purity and Content Testing
Our gold jewelry uses karat gold rather than gold plating. The available karat and color depend on the design and your agreed specification. Common purity marks include 375 for 9K, 417 for 10K, 585 for 14K and 750 for 18K.
If you need a gold-content test, tell us which products and quantities it should cover. We will confirm availability, the testing method, sample coverage, fees and timing. Testing is not automatically included with every product or order.
A purity mark identifies the stated alloy fineness; a test report records findings for the sample described in that report. Agree any required marking or testing with us before production.
Diamond and Gemstone Reports
We supply natural diamonds and offer lab-grown diamonds on request. Specify the stone type, size, quality requirements and any laboratory documentation you need as part of your product selection or custom brief.
Independent report availability and cost depend on the particular stone, its condition and the laboratory service requested. We confirm suitable arrangements individually rather than promising a report for every stone above a fixed size.
A report for a center stone does not automatically cover the smaller stones or the complete finished piece. Check the report’s material description, reference number and scope.
Gold and Platinum Test Report Samples
View our original 10K, 14K, 18K and PT900 report examples below. Each document relates to the sample identified in that report. These examples do not certify a new order or every item in our catalog.

Diamond and Gemstone Laboratory Report Samples
These examples show report formats from GIA, Gübelin, SSEF, GIT, HRD and AIGS. The appropriate laboratory, service and report depend on the stone and your requirements. Confirm the documentation you need with our team before placing your order.
Certificate of Authenticity Sample
View an example of our certificate of authenticity. The information and scope of any document supplied with your order must match the agreed products and materials. A supplier certificate and an independent laboratory report serve different purposes.
Our Jewelry Trade Membership
Play With Diamonds is an active member of the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA). Member No. 4224, since 28 September 2021. Learn more about our Bangkok team and process on our gold jewelry manufacturing page.
Recycled Gold and Sourcing
We use recycled gold in jewelry production. If your brand needs supporting supplier or order documentation, explain the information you require before confirming production so we can review what is available.
For natural diamonds, we can also discuss available supplier sourcing assurances. The Kimberley Process concerns the international trade in rough diamonds; it is different from a laboratory report identifying a polished diamond or assessing its quality.
Plan Documentation With Your Order
Include the following with your enquiry so we can review the requirements alongside your jewelry selection:
- The product codes or design references, quantities, gold karat and stone specifications.
- The test, report or supplier document you need, including any preferred laboratory.
- Your intended sales market, required document format and deadline.
For an existing design, choose from our wholesale gold jewelry catalog and include these requirements with your quotation request. For a new collection, add them to your custom gold jewelry manufacturing brief.
We review requests manually and email your quotation. Any agreed testing, reports, charges and lead time should be included before production approval. For transport arrangements and value coverage, see our jewelry shipping information.
